US SHIPPING
FederalExpress (Fedex) is our standard carrier for all US shipping needs. Free Ground shipping is available on most purchases over $90, single item or combined. Sale items, blowouts, academic, do not qualify for free shipping. Express shipping is available at discounted rates at the time you are finalizing your purchase. Free shipping applies to the contiguous 48 US States only. Hawaii, and Alaska are extra. We recommend 3 day saver or 2nd day air to those locations as the best choice as we have discounted those rates for your convenience. We will email tracking number, so you will be able to make arrangements for receipt of your package.
Saturday Delivery
Saturday delivery is not included as part of our Standard Next Day service. If you are ordering anything on a Friday via Next Day, you must call us and notify us before 3 pm eastern time that you will need your order delivered Saturday. An additional $15 Saturday Delivery fee (Fedex Fee $15) will be charged to your credit card.

We ship via USPS Priority Mail to P.O. Boxes.
International Shipping
International shipping is via USPS Priority International Mail 1 - 2 weeks shipping tracked & insured. Scitscat Music ships via USPS twice a week and emails tracking information upon shipment of your item(s). If ordering internationally, buyers are responsible for any and all customs and duties fees on the goods purchased. These are additional charges that are not added by Scitscat Music, but by your local Government in your country.
If you have any questions as to what the charges will be, please call your local customs office. All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with that country's national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the merchandise is dutiable and the value of the item is above the threshold set by the country's laws. If duties and taxes are assessed on an item mailed via the Postal Service, they are collected from the recipient at the time of delivery.
In addition, for most countries, there is an administrative fee that is collected from the recipient to cover the costs of clearing the item through customs and collecting duties and taxes. If you want to learn what the threshold for duties and taxes is for a particular country, you can go to www.wcoomd.org for general information or visit the Web site of that country's customsservice.

PURCHASE ORDERS
Although purchase orders will activate your order, all merchandise can only be shipped once payment is received in full. That applies to schools and any other institutions. We suggest that you send us a P.O. and follow up with a check for the full amount of your order mailed to:

SPECIAL ORDERS
Due to the constant turn around in stock and inaccurate availability dates on new products coming from some manufacturers, we suggest you email or call us and check for availability dates before purchasing online.
We have a Live Shopping Cart - "Be aware that if you make a purchase through our online store your card will be billed at the time you buy, even though the actual merchandise may not yet be available"
Compare this to a special order, where you pay for a piece of merchandise at a retail store, knowing it will be sent to you only when it becomes available. Newly released merchandise is shipped to our customers on a first come first serve basis, in another words, if you place your order and pay for it first, you get it first. And while a great portion of our products are promptly available for shipping, we cannot guarantee certain items in stock, specifically newly released products. Email or call our customer support and check for availability and the estimate time of delivery on a given product or new release you may be considering.
CANCELLATIONS
Unshipped cancelled orders are subject to a 5% fee. This fee is imposed in order to cover all credit card fees and processing fees occurred to place your special order.
AVAILABILITY
Should you purchase a product at our online store that's not available for shipping at time of your order, Scitscat Music will contact you and advise you on actual availability on that item. You may then:
CREDIT CARD FRAUD
We find credit card fraud to be a very serious crime and pursue such action to the full extent of the law ( Fraud transactions are geographically located. Proper authorities at that state are immediately contacted ). In addition, we strongly secure and protect our customers from such, through high security military level encryption, card code and automatic address verification.
