Waves API Collection Includes:
API 550A - 3-Band Equalizer
Modeledon API's late 1960's legend, the API 550A EQ delivers a sound that hasbeen a hallmark of high end studios for decades. It provides reciprocalequalization at 15 points in 5 steps of boost divided into threeoverlapping ranges. The high and low frequency ranges are individuallyselectable as either peaking or shelving, and a band-pass filter can beinserted independently of all other settings. The 550A is a uniquelypowerful equalizer with that one-of-a-kind API sound.

API 550B - 4-Band Equalizer
Featuringfour overlapped EQ bands, the 550B gives tracks that sweet analog soundthat API is renowned for. With 7 switchable filter frequencies spanningup to 5 octaves per band, the 550B's "Proportional Q" automaticallywidens the filter bandwidth at minimal settings and narrows it athigher settings. It even lets you undo previous processing, affect oreven reverse tonal modifications. With its vast range of tonalpossibilities, the API 550B is a versatile EQ for all your processingneeds.

API 560 - 10-Band Graphic EQ
Basedon API's 1967 classic, the 560 10-Band Graphic Equalizer featuresprecision filtering and massive headroom, so you can take your sound tothe edge and beyond. The 560's curve shaping potential is unmatched,while API's unique "Proportional Q" design intuitively widens thefilter bandwidth at lower boost/cut levels and narrows it at highersettings. And since boost and cut characteristics are identical,previous actions can be easily undone. For precision equalization withunmatched versatility, turn to the EQ heard on top recordings fordecades: the API 560.

API 2500 - Stereo Compressor
TheAPI 2500 is a dynamics processing powerhouse that lets you deliver thepunch with absolute accuracy. Its dual channel design lets the 2500also function as two separate mono channels via a single compressionsetting. Using auto-makeup gain, you can adjust Threshold or Ratiowhile automatically maintaining a constant output level.
